About
Texas EIT and transportation engineer focused on signal timing, traffic safety and microsimulation.
I’m a Texas EIT and transportation engineer. I hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, and an M.S. and Ph.D. (expected December 2026) in Transportation Engineering from Texas Tech University.
Since 2022 I have worked as a Research Assistant at Texas Tech under Dr. Hongchao Liu. I have completed signal timing, restriping and corridor coordination studies for the TxDOT Fort Worth District, built crash analytics dashboards for four TxDOT districts, built and calibrated VISSIM microsimulation models, and processed roadside LiDAR vehicle trajectory data. Before transportation, I worked as a structural engineer in Jordan.
I am looking for transportation and traffic engineering roles with consulting firms and public agencies, where I can apply signal timing, safety analysis and simulation to real projects.
